Facebook is a funny old thing. Over the last 2 years I have seen it grow to become what it is now the Facebook buzz was about over a year ago and people kept saying if you're not on Facebook then you're out of it etc., There are ways to make money with Facebook but you have to have certain business models in order to make money from it. I have read many ebooks and tried and tested many Facebook things out.
here are ways you can get a lot of traffic and make money from Facebook
1. The popular Facebook ads, but the ads have to be very good and compelling as its a social network so it''s a bit intrusive. The great thing about Facebook ads is that you can choose a demographic, so you can tailor yours ads to specific age groups, job types, locations, hobbies, interests etc so that is probably one of the best features of Facebook ads.
2. Build a profile in the network marketing niche and use your profile to brand yourself as an expert in your niche and to release valuable videos that can go viral, and also connect your twitter account with Facebook using api. many network marketers drive new prospects to there capture page which will build there list.
3. Make a profile in a particular niche like weight loss and build a follow ship of people in the same niche and then open a fan page (which you can message everyone at once) you can then build a list from that or promote CPA offers etc or ClickBank offers but probably the best way would be to build list.

Another very profitable way which some CPA marketers are making very good money from is Facebook applications, you can buy Facebook applications from anywhere from $5 up to thousands and once they go viral and people like the app your CPA profits can go through the roof. Many CPA guys are doing this but it can sometimes be a hit or miss. They make money from CPA by getting facbook users to either fill out a survey or a CPA offer so they can get more points for a certain game etc.
5. This is by far the most funny way and some what a little unethical but its interesting. You know you get all those groups you see where they say "find out who has been viewing your profile in the last 24 hours" lol well it's all rubbish you ca not do that but marketers use the power of Facebook traffic and the viral exposure to get a group into the thousands by using very funny, compelling, interesting etc group names. One group name I saw was "Stop using homeless puppies as shark bait" this gets peoples attention and they join. I know it sounds bizarre but people actually believe this crap lol when the group grows in to the thousands some have got to over half a million marketers then send all that traffic to certain pages with a special Facebook designed script where they have ads, and guess what they get paid when people click same as AdSense. This is very clever as they just harnessing the power of Facebook traffic without actually selling anything.
So next time you see all those interesting compelling group names you will know what people are up to. There are more ways to use Facebook to make money but these are just a few I thought I would mention as I know Facebook is not somewhere most people would think of making money
I have tried most of these techniques and some work better than others but the main thing you have to do is to build a brand and name for yourself and be very active
PS: there are many products being released for making money with Facebook but 99.9% of them are a waste of money because the methods they teach you will more than likely be completely saturated by the time you test it. Facebook is a cut throat business model like others so people are not going to give you there biggest secrets away that probably makes them thousands a month for a measly $100 or $200.

Step by Step on How to Switch From Dial-Up to DSL

So you're looking to get rid of that old, slow dial-up Internet service and enter the 21st century with high-speed DSL. Digital Subscriber Line, or DSL, is the easiest and often cheapest way to upgrade your service, as it requires no additional wiring to your home as long as you have a working phone line. The new hardware is minimal and usually provided, and can be installed by just about anyone.

Install your DSL modem. Locate a place in your home where you would like to connect your computer, then locate the nearest phone jack. Disconnect any phone line coming out of that jack, and connect the phone jack that came with your DSL modem kit. Connect the other end of the phone cord to the "Line In" port on the back of your DSL modem.

Connect your modem to your computer. Locate the output port from the DSL modem, which is roughly twice the size of a regular phone jack and is called an Ethernet port. Then connect the Ethernet cable from your DSL modem kit to this port the same way you connected the phone cords. Then locate an identical Ethernet port on your computer. This is usually in the back, and probably close to where you previously connected your modem.

Install your DSL filters on every other phone in your home. DSL has the drawback of putting a lot of static on your phone line, which can be heard if you're talking on the same line, or interfere with things such as fax machines and alarm systems. Simply disconnect your phone from the phone jack, and clip the wire into the phone jack on the DSL filter. Then plug the filter back into the same phone jack. Repeat for all remaining phone connections
