FG plans to Increase NYSC Allowance from N19,800to N38,000 from March 2013

News going round now that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will increase allowance from N19,800 to N38,000 from March 2013 starting with Batch A corps members. The report is not yet confirmed as there has not been any official announcement from NYSC. Maybe Federal Government is still speculating.



We hope it turns out to be true as this would go a long way in helping the Corps members who will serve the country for a whole year. The money, though still not enough but if prudently managed, could bail some corpers from unemployment problems as they could start up small scale businesses on completion.
