Fans dreaded this day, media experts predicted it, and even the artistes in question tried avoiding it, but it seemed inevitable from the very beginning – a once buoyant relationship between Ayo ‘Wizkid‘ Balogun and David ‘Davido‘ Adeleke has finally hit the rocks.

Recently Davido and his HKN label crew were reported to have walked out of the NEA Awards show while Wizkid was performing. Fans are already asking questions, the most popular one being ‘what started it all?’
The dispute between Wizkid and Davido might seem sudden to the general public, but it dates back longer than we think. The cause? You’ll have to thank two very important men in the Nigerian music industry – D’banj and Don Jazzy.
FIRST BLOOD
It all started with the news of D’banj signing Davido to his DB Records back in May 2012 – the news turned out to be false, but this obviously didn’t go down well with the ‘other camp.’
‘You see Davido was very close to Don Jazzy and the Mo’hits squad before they parted with D’banj. When Jazzy heard Davido signed with D’banj, he wasn’t entirely happy’, a close friend of both camps tells NET.
SECOND ROUND’S ON ME
Don Jazzy is said to have immediately told Wande Coal (who mentors both Wizkid and Davido) to stop visiting Davido at his Lekki home.
Davido, at the time, was still recording his debut album and had plans to collaborate with Wande and Wizzy on separate songs. When Davido contacted Wande Coal, the pop singer’s management asked for an exorbitant fee (reportedly N1.5m) for the collabo. Sources say Davido was keen to get it done, but his manager Asa Asika was having none of it. This ‘sudden policy’ led to a war of words between Asika and Wande’s manager Nana. The collabo never happened. Wande and Davido stopped talking and calling each other.

DOCTOR CAUGHT ON CAMERA RAPING WOMEN
A secretly recorded video has captured a Student Doctor forcing his female patients to have unprotected sex with him right in his theatre during abortion process.
The women had gone to the clinic for surgical abortion at various times and the doctor, after making them strip naked for the operation, forced them to have sex with him with an excuse that without the séx, the abortion would not be successful.
The doctor has been arrested by the police in Ghana being prepared for court as investigations continue into the case. The video was secretly recorded by mysterious investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, at a private clinic located at Madina, a suburb of Accra.
The scenes are mind-boggling and the acts brutal. The name of the clinic starts with the letter 'U' but the full name would be withheld for now because the illegal acts of the doctor seem to have been secretly done on the blind side of the clinic's management.

WOMAN BITES OFF POLICEMAN’S EAR
A 36-year old woman, Mrs. Gloria Ugonnaya, has been arraigned before a Yaba Magistrate’s court in Lagos, Southwest Nigeria, charged with assault. She allegedly bit off the ear of a police Corporal, Odion Oifoghe, attached to Sabo Police Division, Yaba in order to evade arrest.
Naijaloaded learnt that Gloria had a quarrel with her neighbour at their 35, Johnson Street, Onike, Yaba, Lagos residence and when the police invited her for questioning, she refused to honour the invitation.
Oifoghe had to go to her residence in the morning on the day of the incident to arrest her. But in an effort to frustrate the policeman, she engaged him in a scuffle during which she bit off his ear. She was eventually arrested.
Police charged her with assault occasioning harm. The offence, according to the police prosecutor, is contrary to and punishable under section 172 of the criminal code, laws of Lagos state, Nigeria, 2011.
When the charge was read to her, Gloria pleaded not guilty.
The trial Magistrate, Mrs. S.K. Metapa admitted her to bail in the sum of N50,000 and one surety in like sum.
The matter was adjourned till 12 September, 2012 for mention. Gloria was remanded in prison custody pending when her bail condition will be perfected.
LATE CYNTHIA’S BB FOUND WITH PORT HARCOURT-BASED BUSINESS
THE last may not have been heard on the gruesome murder, in a Lagos hotel, of Miss Cynthia Udoka Osokogu, the Delta State-born 2009 second runner-up of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, with the recent recovery of her Black Berry, BB, mobile phone from a Port Harcourt-based businessman. The middle-age man (names withheld) was arrested by detectives attached to Area ‘E’ Command Festac Town, Lagos, after the deceased’s BB pin number was retrieved from her father.

NIGERIA’S FIRST LADY HOSPITALIZED IN GERMANY
The sources say Mrs. Jonathan, who is also a Permanent Secretary in the Bayelsa State civil service, was airlifted to the hospital by an air ambulance in midweek under emergency medical conditions.
Presidency sources stated that the emergency airlift departed for Wisbanden, Germany, but it is not clear if her treatment was being undertaken in that city.
